Could I rebuild my XP and make it more powerful?
Well so I want to make a computer but I have a old XP that has a virus that makes it so it can't get on my network.
I think all it needs is a new fan, mother board, and RAM (maybe) and a new hard drive also a new graphis card (I'm tried so mispelling is going to happen) and it's probly gonna be cheaper to just buy all those parts and then windows 8 and a monitor

Are you wanting to buy these parts because of the virus? If so then if you don't have anything important you wish to keep then I would just upgrade the RAM and/or reformat it and put Win7 or some friendly/lite flavor of Linux on it.
But, if you insist on upgrading parts I suggest buying them from newegg. Do your research on parts compatibility before purchasing anything so you don't run into any issues, though. But honestly with all of the parts you want to upgrade, you might be better off buying a used computer with better specs than your current one for probably less than you would spend upgrading that one.
If you need help with anything feel free to message me and i'll assist you either way.

You can't cheap out on parts, stop looking for alternatives and build a PC like we've told you in the last four threads. If you're going to be replacing so many things (basically everything except the case), what's the point in not just aiming to build a new one? Besides which, expensive parts probably wouldn't fit in your old XP case (modern graphics cards are massive).
