The point is they can but they don't because it's "idolatry" in their minds. Which is sickening. It would make it more ok if they had no money i guess and were trying to seek medical help but that's not the case.

Then they do something for the money, sell stuff for them? They didn't sell anything to save them, they just relied on a false lord. If your kid was going die, you'd do anything to save him. Not just rely on prayer. They had a choice, but didn't use medicine.

It's people's misinterpretations like this, that give's religion a bad name.

You can relate their twisted belief ina religion to that of Osama bin Laden. People see something, and make it different in their mind.
If I had a child that was sick, I would pray of course, but relying on prayer is not enough for health. Medical care is the answer to people's prayers, but instead they want to say "No, prayer is the only way", as if one day the child will magically be healed. It takes more… people's beliefs of prayer annoy me.

I had non-hochkins cancer when I was in 9th grade and I'm in remission now in 12th and I can tell you chemotherapy is EXTREMELY expensive all my parents life savings is almost eaten up. I'm so very happy I had my parents and not these, as I was at stage 4B.
