I have tried the simple splitters that you can get for dirt cheap on ebay or amazon & they are utter crap . I have 2 that i bought that are identical to this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Way-Port...item2572a7457e

If you look about on ebay , you can get this for cheaper than the 1 i have shown , I just dont have the time to go looking for you at the moment
It is by far the best solution to splitting the signal and as the unit needs a power source , It also doubles as a signal amplifier , So no loss of quality either .

I believe that just takes a signal and sends it to 1 source at a time ( i have also used this before )

Just looked at some of the comment : This splitter does not send a simultaneous signal to two displays. ”
Mukstew | 49 reviewers made a similar statement

If you are after multiple hdmi connections ( bluray/dvd/ps3 etc) all going to 2 tv's , you can use something like this : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adapter-Co...item4ac028d9c4

This is currently what i use ( not the same model , but very similar , 4 in and 4 outs )

let me know how many inputs you have and i will find the same as what i have .
