    Default DS Flash-Carts/DS Homebrew Questions

I am thinking about getting a flash cart for my DS. What is a good flash cart for the DS lite? I was thinking about getting the one from Datel, does this flash cart need a patch for DLDI? I wanted it to play some DS games but I was wondering what all can I get out of it? Like what is the best Homebrew applications, is there like a Gameshark or Action Replay application for DS roms on the flash cart? Also can you boot games from your GBA and run gameshark or action replay codes on it? Thanks in advance.

The link for the datel flash cart: http://us.codejunkies.com/Products/N..._EF000155.aspx

Don't buy a Datel flash cart. It WILL NOT play most homebrew, I know from experience. I have several flash carts (M3DS Real, That POS, Original R4, and a Supercard DSTwo).

Get a Supercard DSTwo. Best flashcard available as far as I know. It will run DS games no problem at all, and it will run GBA games WITHOUT a special cartridge in the GBA slot.

About $40-50, I think. And yes you can.

You basically open then game settings and hit cheats. It loads from the USRCHEAT.dat file for NDS games.

Yes you can use it with GBA, too. Look here: http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/plugin/gba.htm

You can see stores to buy from here: http://shoptemp.net/products/Supercard-DSTWO.html

Also, what you said about GBA games is not possible with any flashcart. You'd have to buy a GBA Gameshark.

I have a 2gb, it's fine space-wise, but I have problems playing some games that require faster card speeds (i.e. Castlevania)
