Pages In Post?
So. I'm currently in class on my iPod so excuse my post if something is wrong formatting wise.
Anyway. To the reason of the post. (smile)
I was thinking. Is there any way we on the site could have a plugin or something that will allow us to have pages in a post for things like tutorial.
For example. On Newhax I posted a tutorial about how to make a picture viewer, I made a table of contents at the top. I linked it to each part. How? I made a corresponding number of posts; I figured out a little later though that it takes longer for the page to load if the tutorial is actually detailed and a little bit longer than most. I had screenshots and made it more in depth.
I have seen before on Vbulletin sites that they have a plugin that allows pages within the post. Like the pages that are made in the thread when there is enough replies; but only in the starting post. It's hard to explain, I'll try to find an example later.
EDIT: I know you can add spoilers and such, but adding a table of contents that links to different parts can not be done. I know it can be with HTML with the lbl function. But yeah.
EDIT: Here is a post from NGU that is an example. An image also...

This actually sounds like a good idea, it would make things look more professional. Most sites have this, it would be a good addition.

I want to see an example first, I can't quite wrap my mind around what you are trying to say.

I think I know what you are talking about. I have seen it on others sites and I like the idea.
