    Default Easter its stolen roots.

Easter was stolen from Astaroth. Originality known as "Asthar". The holiday takes place around the same time as the spring equinox when day and night are of the same length. Known as "Eastre" To the Anglo Saxons As the goddess of fertility she was associated with Rabbits and eggs. the xians twisted the meaning of the holiday. Her other names include Easter, Eastre, Eos, Eostre, Ester, Estrus ( when an animal goes into heat) Oestrus, Oistros, and Ostara.

"The lamb of god" was stolen from the Zodiac sign of Aries the ram which occurs every spring.

Most people don't know about this, this is where the bunny and egg comes from. Over time Easter just became commercialized like every other holiday.

I think I was taught this at one point. They didn't say stolen, they told me it was influenced by "Asthar".

Astaroth is a babylonian goddess i dont see how she would have influence on a xian religion. but than again half the xian religions were copied from their pagan roots

    Wasn't the easter eggs/bunny a Bavarian/Germanic tradition in 1500s?

I'm pretty sure chocolate makers took advantage of that custom in that area before the custom spread worldwide.
