    Default Help| FInished my computer build........But it won't connect to the internet

    Well, i JUST finished building my custom PC ( A million thanks to Strike for all his help (biggrin) ) but now it wont even detect the internet connection, which 3 other computers can connect to. I tried downloading the driver for the internet card im using but it didnt work. The card is a Netgear 802.11n. Can someone help me find the drivers and help me get it working?

    I downloaded the CNET installer thing, and after the DL, when i go into the file in Downloads, its empty, and when downlong in the CNET Downloader it says its downloading 0 kb / 0 kb.

    802.11n is not the cards serial number, give us the actual serial number so we can help.

    Ok, how would i find the actual serial number? Its one of the really small ones where the 95% of the thing is the USB. I threw the box out a while ago too.

    I don't think he meant a serial number but what model is your router.

    There are a dozen netgear routers on the market and all of them are 802.11n. To us to give you the correct driver we need the model name. (not brand)

    The router isn't the problem, i can connect to the internet with my 2 other computers. But anyways the router serial #/Model is MI424-WR. I'm sorry I don't know really know the lingo of this topic.

    We don't need the router serial, we'd need the actual wireless card's model.
