    Default Guitar help - Transposing chords

    Well I don't know how many of you can transpose chords very well but I suck cock and it, confusing myself with information I learn online.

    These are the keys I will be playing in, on April 28th at church, (along with the rest of the band)

    I learned that the key of D can be played with my capo on the second fret while playing in the key of C. I would learn all the new key's but whoever put the songs up, put them there VERY late, and I only have 11 days to practice. I want to play in the key of G (G formation).

    What fret would I put my capo on for these songs? Please help, I'm already freaking out. ;~;

    NOTE: It's church, we play Christian music, don't reply with some shit like "G0d duznt exizt".

    Capo on 11th fret if you're playing key of B in key of C I believe.

    Okay well let's think in common sense now.

    This is me trying to do a D# with my capo on the 11th fret

    it's focking impossible there.

    I can only play in the key of G and the key of C correctly with no capo. A little of D, A, F, blah blah. but tryng to playing while my capo is on the 11th fret is just..... so hard....

    So with your guitar tuned down a half step, you'd only need to capo on the fourth fret? 11th fret sounds like it would be insanely high pitched... and I doubt that's what the song was going for.
