    Default Memory Loss & ADHD

How good is your guys's memory? I guess I've never really thought much about my memory up until recently. I can't remember what I had for dinner last night, or if I had breakfast this morning, ask me what we did in my classes today and it'd take me a minute to think about it. I really just don't remember much I guess. Is this normal? And, can it be a sign of inattentive ADHD?

I have noticed that it depends on what time of day it is. I can barely remember just waking up for anything. Say it is early morning and I get a phone call. Can't really remember what I said or who it was. Overall, I think my memory is fine. Never really been told something and never remembered again.

Everyone does that though, even I do that. My memory is pretty sharp if it needs to be.

Yeah but it's inattentive adhd I'm wondering about.

How far back do you guys remember things? Apparentally I wrote this chick a love poem like 3 years ago, and I don't even remember writing any poetry. .-. Also, does anyone mix reality with dreams? I always wonder, if something from my child hood pops up: say some scars I have for example. I think I remember how I got them, but my parents say it was something else, which makes me question if I really did give myself them or not. I also question silly things like running away. I think I remember doing it, but then again, did it really happen? :c

In my experiences ive sometimes walked into a room while thinking of something and then I forget why I walked in there. Or it could just be I tend to go into deep thought whenever not engaged in a conversation.

I am "on" foclain xr (hardly ever take it) but iv had an issue with short term memory loss before i started taking medication for ADD, and i still have the issue even when im not on the capsule (most of the time) so i wouldnt associate the medication with it.

It will happen witth little things and its quite frustrating. Il go in the bathroom and almost drop the milk in the toilet, ill bring the cereal out to the shed, and once i almost peed in the trash.

IDK when it started but i also become light headed and lose all vission for a solid 8 seconds after laying down for long oeriods of time in an odd position and then getting up quikly

It's very frustrating, I agree. I got prescribed wellbutrin and prozac, prozac to help with depression and wellbutrin to help with depression as well as inattentive type ADHD, basically I'm just not there most the time. That's part of the reason I'm so awkward over skype, if you've skyped with me you'd know. Cx. I'm just wondering if I should bring it up during my May appointment, or just ignore it. I repeat a lot fo my conversations, I.e. "Dude, did I tell you about when I got my septum pierced?" "Yeah... you did last night" "oh.. sorry." Or I'll start telling someone a story, and they'll be like "dude I was there with you.." and I'd be like "wait.. really?" Like stories not even a year old. It's annoying as hell, not just to me, but to other people. Lol.
