Well once I get back from basic, I plan on going out and buying a Ruger SR-556 rifle...
"THE AR PLATFORM REDEFINED. The SR-556® offers Ruger's legendary rugged reliability, and comes factory standard with a host of accessories that today's shooters demand. Employing a patent-pending, chrome-plated, two-stage piston driven operating system that provides the user with a cleaner, cooler running, reliable firearm that is truly state-of-the-art.
The chrome-lined gas block and chrome-plated piston and regulator work together to provide a smooth power delivery stroke to the bolt carrier. The by-products of the gas system are vented out the bottom of the gas block, away from the bolt carrier, keeping the action clean and free from contaminants. The end result is significantly improved performance over gas driven rifles."
If you guys know any better rifles please tell me and I'll have a look into it. Thanks.

I don't think most of us could help with weapon choosing.

in b4 some faggot names a gun they only know becuase of cod/batlefield.
I have a few suggestions. Are you looking for semi automatic or full auto gun?
I personally think the 'AR15' is good if you're looking for a semi-auto
But the gun you're looking at looks excellent.

I agree with Baktiar on this one.

It really all depends on what kind of gun you're looking for. I see nothing wrong with keeping the ol' .22 around, but at the same time, an assault rifle is a decent choice. Semi or full? Large or smaller clip? Handgun? Work with me now.

You should get a Ray Gun or a Thundergun. My personal favorite is the Wunderwaffle.

AR-15's are pretty tight actually. But the one you are looking at looks pretty sturdy too. I cannot speak from past experience for an SR-556, because i have personally never shot one. And you definitely dont want a full auto weapon for at home, they have more recoil than if you only fire one round at a time.

AR-15 or AK-47 would be some decent ones to go with. (Shot both, very exciting)
