Default Official Gran Turismo 5 Tuning Thread

Post your car tunes for Gran Turismo 5! Drifting, Racing, Drags etc. This thread will be updated when I can with everyone's tunes just be patient. I will set them alphabetically. Well the reason why I made this thread is because I am actually looking for some Drifting & Drag tunes from other people. Thanks!

    Drift Tunes
For Drifting, tires should always be set to Comfort Hard.

I usually just grab settings from online if I need them. After many years of playing GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, and now GT5, I still don't know anything about tuning besides the gear ratio and tires.

If you know what you're doing, a guide that explains everything (suspension, etc.) would be appreciated.

Yeah, I think I have several racing tunes. Give me a second to go through my garage and I'll post one of them.

For drifting, you don't want to have a low ratio gear setup with a top speed. I was going to suggest clutch kicking and upshifting when exiting a larger corner, but I forgot GT5 doesn't offer a clutch on the manual transmission.

However, I would take some people to school on drifting.

Yeah, if you really want to start aiming for more points per lap, I'd recommend a pretty close gear ratio between gears 1-3.
