Default Wii U seems to be dying. Will E3 have a life supporting annoucement?

well basicaly 6 months in and now the console is only able to ship about 100,000 units a week... But will there be any high profile games that can save it?

Unfortunately most likely not as the system cant run some high profile engines. Dices Frostbite 2 was not able to be ported... So frostbite 3 is most likely out of the picture. Similarly Epic wont be porting the Unreal 4 engine to the Wii U

This leaves nintendo to save the console with Awesome first party games.. But the rumor has it nintendo is going the opposite direction and trying to buy up cellphone developers so they can port their games to the Wii U....

But at E3 nintendo wont be making an appearance directly But will be making some big software annoucements throught nintendo direct videos..... Will E3 save the dying console?

A little disappointing, I am still enjoying playing Wii U nearly every day. Hopefully Nintendo comes out guns blazing at E3 and shows Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, The Legend of Zelda, maybe a new Metroid game, all the games Nintendo fans have been waiting for.

You never know, the Wii U could pull a 3DS and blow chunks early in its release and do a whole lot better later on.

It's like every console in its first year. It will sell slow until there's a huge marketing push with all the huge games.

As fr 3rd party support, I don't know who buys a Wii U for 3rd party games. One could just buy a PC or PS4 for those whilst enjoying the first party classics on their Wii U.
