    http://www.polygon.com/2013/5/14/433...-his-jail-cell

Im being lazy and linking to the article today.

But summary is "Hoddle Street killer" Julian Knight who was an Austrailian murder wants a PS3 in his jail cell.. he also is pissed that he sees other cellmates with computers and he is constantly being denied to having one.

I don't see why someone in prison should get these things, they are in there to pay for what they did not to have fun.

    Done.
depends here in canada its a correctional institution type of thing. they can do work and earn money... and by doing this they learn non criminal skills. and with that money they can buy chocolate bars and shit.

i know some of our prisons give them TVs and stuff. unfortunately im all to familiar with a little bit how the prison system works here

I don't care about them being able to have jobs and earn money, you have to pay to be in prison so they have to be able to somehow. But they shouldn't have a ps3 where they can contact the outside world without supervision, putting people just playing a video game at risk.

That's why they read all mail going in and out of prison and why they record the phone calls.

Every time I try to not think of a random irrelevant Canadian stereotype you seem to bring it up.
