Xbox One Can Simulate 35,000 Light-Years Of Space
Xbox One developers teamed up with NASA to simulate 35 thousand light years of space.
Microsoft had something to show off at E3 2013 that no one else could come close to, they've been showing off an impressive tech demo for the Xbox One, which was made with a little help from NASA.
The Xbox's limits are being pushed by simulating 35,000 light-years of space.
Using NASA's vast database, Microsoft have created a simulation of various matter; from planets, to asteroids, to comets and more.
"Each of the 40,000 asteroids are calculated and rendered, presenting its time and place to a high degree of accuracy," Jeff Henshaw, Xbox One engineering manager. It was also added that the Xbox One has the ability to feature "10,000 or 100,000 enemies in-game" with the console working alongside with the cloud.
