So yep, this thread is about my shi... I mean great build (for the money)
Intel Core i5-3470 (Quad core)
Some Foxconn motherboard which I don't remember
8GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GT640 (soon upgrading)
Raidmax Hybrid 2 530W
1TB Itachi HDD
I will post pictures if you want, it's nothing special
Sounds like an awesome build, GL. That i5 will last you several years, and will still allow a modest overclock if you feel the need to. Have you picked a case?

Nice but I would look in to a 6 core Intel since games are getting more..... use to it.
Gpu is nice but was it more than the processer

No. No one needs a six core intel just for gaming. There are hardly any games that take advantage of that, not to mention the price. It would be pointless, and make no sense given the cost of the rest of his components. An i5 3470 is basically a 3570k with a lower clock speed and less overclocking capabilities. You can't find a game that will need more than that, especially not in single-GPU gaming.Originally Posted by Distortion
I may be able to help. What size are you looking for? Full tower, mid, etc. ?
I'd be looking for a full tower, need space just in case I ever want to upgrade.
Jew and Insane.Dragon here, are the best at PC builds.
for a heat sink i'm going liquid, but you should go with a hyper 212 evo
btw i would get a better PSU use this

Im going to go with the stock heatsink for now.
I recommend Cooler Master cases, they have some great full towers: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/cate...e=Full%20Tower
I have the Storm Stryker, and I love it. Very well put-together case.
