Default [yzMAKEMEFAMOUSzy] Hacking when you don't have your SD card around

i'm just typing this for educational purposes to the beginning hackers/modders out there.

so a lot of my friend who hack come to me and ask me for hacks because they dont have their SD card.
well if you already have HBC installed thats mostly the last time you need to use you SD card (unless you are going to upgrade your ios) anyways.. Port1 on the back of the Wii system is supported to HBC and you can have all your HBC applications on a USB drive and plug it in there. I have a 4gb flash drive i use just for the channels. i have not touched a SD card for months (though i still have one)

now say you want to use codes... Gecko does not support USB code storage. So i use Neogamma which does support it. you just need to change the settings so it will correct the ios and run the game correctly, otherwise the codes will be disabled. you can do that in the options on the application its self.

Everything else i use (Tools, ISO, etc.) I have on a 500gb HDD but i won't get into that right now.

anyways i hope this was useful to some who didnt know. (biggrin)

It's the same thing. A USB and A SD card are storage devices. Some USBS aren't compatible with the Wii. Also, both ports can be used for the Homebrew Channel, only back up loading requires the Storage device to be inserted in Slot 1.

Also, you are wrong. Gecko OS supports both SD cards and USB's. Every app works on a USB, as long as you are using a compatible USB Drive and the correct cIOS (if necessary).

You either have a newer Wii model, or your some of your IOS's aren't correctly installed. Works perfect for me, but then again, I have an old Wii model from 2008.

And yes, it will help the newcomers. Good job.
