Sony confirms that gamers who have already bought the PS3 version of specific games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Watch Dogs will be able to purchase the PS4 version for a severely discounted price. Sony did this to "reward gamers for their loyalty" and to ensure the system is as "simple and accessable as possible."

Sony was unable to do this without consent from the companies involved, and they obtained the permission of publishers such as Activision and Ubisoft. Sony seems to demonstrate conistently they know what consumers want. Although the games won't be free, the discount should be well received by gamers.

Very interesting seems how most gamers probably pre-ordered BF4 or COd: Ghosts for the PS3 who will be moving onto the PS4 like me.
