    Default Nvidia Driver Crash.

So I was exporting/converting a video from 480p to 1080p in this program. out of the blue a message pops up and tell me my nvidia driver , has crashed but has recovered, shortly after my monitor loses signal and the computer reboots all is normal now. But is it possible that a buggy program could make the GPU drivers crash? if so will it not be repeated if i do not use the program?

    Thanks,

Graphics can crash if OC'd and the PSU doesn't put out enough for the OC, or at least it does it to me. Sometimes even when I'm not OC'ing. Maybe I should get a new graphics card.

When rendering, your graphics card plays a role as a main processing unit to enhance your video. Update your drivers for your video card, and if your card is an older one then that could be a potential problem as well.
