    Default Good laptop?

I was wondering what you guys thought would be a good laptop? I'm going to sell my ps3 and buy a computer, and i was thinking that maybe you all knew a good and cheap computer. I'm more about the computer speed so something with a fast processor but idk what kind of processor would be good on a laptop. I thought about getting an AMD one but someone told me that AMD processors suck on laptops. I'm not really sure. The most that i'm going to spend is around $300. Please don't be rude in the comments. Thanks.

I have a hp 2000 that was $200. It's pretty fast for one that priced, the only thing slow would be opening large programs like ps, but it literally just takes a minute not bad sometimes faster.

I want something suitable for ps and gaming. Code compilers don't need speed i don't think. So that's okay.

Well of course ps works on mine, games not do much. Your not going to find something great for your price. Your looking at $500-$1000.

If you're going to be doing gaming on a laptop, you're going to spend more than 300 dollars. AMD laptops/desktops don't suck, it's a personal preference. (If you want me to explain more, just ask) If you want to get something reliable with a bit of a punch for cheap, check out an HP 6910p. You can find them on ebay, for around 140 bucks and still have cash left over for extra ram and hard drive space.

However if that's not what you want to do, then I'd suggest you save your pennies.

I'm going to kinda go off what Insane was saying a little here.
You better start saving your pennies if you want a good gaming PC. You're going to have to look at RAM, processor, and graphics card, along with hard drive. Do you want solid state or normal? 500GB or 1TB? Do you want full speed like with quad core i7 over-clocked, or okay speed with i5? What about graphics? Desktop or laptop? Etc.
I have an ASUS K55A and it's okay when it comes to speed and gaming. Not the best for livestreaming though. Graphics card sucks on it. But I'm grateful.
