My MMR continues to drop
Got unranked players, a troll Draven that refused to accept that his build was incorrect. The kills i got were from grabs. Were awesome kills but apparently I was a support troll who likes to ks.
I got reported for verbal abuse after I said i'd mute the adc, even though I got him fed...

Don't play support if you want a high mmr. Play ADC, Jungle, or Top lane. All of those roles can carry an entire team. Mid cannot, and support cannot. Mid CAN, if you're a strong ad mid. However, AP mids are easily shutdown and far too squishy to be viable late-game, especially in higher MMR's.

How does MMR Change? is it based on performance alone or the full team?

Play roles where you can carry and learn to carry correctly, problem solved. Playing with lower leveled people helps you learn how to better carry teams, it has for me at least. Nothing easy but with some practice you should be able to do it.

Hmm, seems as though you guys are lacking a lot of information in this field. I'm about to hit Platinum, and I can assure you, MMR is ONLY a product of your win/loss ratio plugged into the ELO system of Season 2. It's just hidden in the background. This applies to normal and ranked games alike.
As for choosing a role with which to carry - they're all viable. Every role has the potential to win a game if you're playing it at a higher level than both your allies and opponents. It's silly to expect your team to do well every game. Simply put, it's your job to MAKE them win. That's really all that separates a Diamond player from anyone else. Luck really doesn't play a factor. Diamond players win more games because they carry harder. This includes supports, mids, jungle, tops, and ADCs. I've carried myself to Gold I on mostly ADC and Mid.
