    Default PC not turning on

when turned on it stays on for bout 3sec then cuts off. so i changed the PSU with a brand new one . now it turns on(lights and fan) no beep codes, no signal to monitor.
i tried unplugging and holding the power botton for 30s, i reseat RAM, clear CMOS, still nada.
could it be when the original PSU conked out it caused some other issue with the board?
CMOS battery is dead (aint change it yet but i doubt it has anything to do with it + i didnt reseat the CPU )
what can cause no beep code and no signal to monitor. ?

Are your providing enough power to the system?

You said you changed the PSU out, try removing any extra drives from your system (ie DVD/CD drives, floppy, slave drives).

Try turning it on now, if it does come on, that means your computer is trying to pull more power than it's getting offered to it from the PSU.

Troubleshoot the cause of the beep code if you are lucky enough to get one. A beep code will give you an idea of the reason of the computer turning off

You obviously didn't read his post.

He isn't getting any beep codes, and if he's not supplying enough power you won't ever get any beep codes since it's not a board problem but a power problem.

    Stop spamming.

This isn't in the spam section, I don't understand why anyone's spamming here.

If you guys aren't going to help with his actual problem, post in a different section.

people these days, delete system64 then go into your recycling bin and put your virginity back in its previous directory

All jokes aside, it sounds like you either are not getting enough power or a major component is failing. does your bios show up?

Make sure you try using vga as hdmi may not always initially work (learned the hard way)

also if nothing shows up still try removing your graphics card and connecting directly to the motherboard.
