So I'm waiting to receive my first SAT scores back. What I'm going for is at least an 1100. What was your best score?

Nah I didn't think so, and I'm sending my scores to the 4 colleges I'm looking into then every time I take it then they will take my highest score from each subject. So if I do well in the math then not as well the second time the first score is taken over the others. That way I can achieve a high score.

I took the SAT in 7th grade, got a 2190 or so.
ACT is my main man though; got a 31, and I'm waiting for the scores from a recent test to see if that will go up any.

Dang, Jew you can go to any college with that score. Did you have to take the writing portion though then? My essay question was really easy compared to the practice ones. Though after 25 minutes one girl only wrote three sentences. I think the test changed since when you scored that high, I only have to score a 1100 to go to college for free. Sc scholarships are great for in state.

Nah, not quite any college. I'm shooting for a 33 at least, although a 35 would be fantastic. I did the writing section, but I didn't feel amazing about it. I think the essay I did on my more recent ACT was better, so hopefully that'll bring my composite up though.
Interesting tidbit; I got a 35/36 on the reading section the first time I took the ACT. I can do some damn literature.

I might take the ACT later this year, depends on my scores. I've heard that guys do better generally on the ACT than the SAT. I remember the first time I took the PSAT when I was in 9th grade and scored very high in the lit./grammar section.

1100 is around the average of most students so its a decent goal for you to achieve
