CURRENT KNOWN PS4 ERROR CODES:

1. NW-31453-6

It occurs along with message "The network connection has been lost". Gamers are greeted which this message as soon as they try to login to PSN via PS4.

POSSIBLE FIX:This might be due to heavy traffic that PSN is experiencing at the moment, the advice is to be patient and try logging in again later. If it fails again, do check the status of PSN Network on official Playstation Blog, it might be offline due to some maintenance work.

2. CD-30774-1:
"Could Not Find The Update File"


Error Code CD-30774-1 Apears to mostly occur when you have replaced the standard 500GB HDD that comes with the console with another one which is not supported. Please Note that replacement HDD for PS4 should not be thicker than 9.5mm, 5400 RPM SATA II.

POSSIBLE FIX: If you are getting PS4 Error Code CD-30774-1 after you replace 500 GB HDD with a new one, the advice is to undo it and everything will work fine.

3. CE-32958-7:
Cannot Launch Application.



This occurs when the application you are trying to launch in not updated with latest patch/firmware. So just make sure all your applications and also PS4 console is updated with the latest firmware. Right Now for PS4 the firmware is 1.50 & is available for download, it's a mandatory update and the file size is around 308 MB. The advice you to download and install it via USB, HERE is step-by-step guide detailing how you can do this. Also follow below steps to firmware update failure issue

Start the system update download.
Go out to the main screen and then go into Notifications.
Go to the "downloading" section of Notifications.
You'll see your download there. As soon as it stops, click on it there and it will resume from where it left off.

4. NW-31200-6:
This is related to PS4 Firmware 1.50


This occurs when as soon as you start downloading PS4 firmware 1.50, it starts up perfectly but suddently the download stops giving an error code Error NW-31200-6.

POSSIBLE FIX: As mentioned above, the advice is to download and install PS4 firmware via USB, a link to detail guide on how can do this provide in above error code.

5. SU-30645-8

Many users are facing Error Code SU-30645-8 while installing Playstation 4 firmware 1.50. The update file downloads without any issue but installation causes issue and error code SU-30645-8 comes up.

Furthermore, gamers are reporting that downloading firmware 1.50 files to USB is of no use because when it is put in PS4 for installation it says "File Is Corrupt".

FIX: The advice is to to please be patient, Sony are looking into this issue. Make sure you are downloading a proper file for you REGION, different regions will have different files.

6. NW-31297-2

7. CE-30784-2

Fix: N/A

8. SU -30696-4
This code relates to most things that require PSN, currenlty PSN is down or under maintenance.

FIX: Wait for PSN to be more stable / less busy.

9. CE-33179-3
Application not found

FIX: Retry after installation is completed.
Installation of Add-Ons fails until the insallation of application is complete

10. CE-33991-5
Get the status of the non HTTP_GET_200 in internet connection

FIX: Retry internet connection test

11. CE-34788-0
This update file cannot be used. Connect a USB storage device that contains an update file for reinstallation of version 1.50 or later

FIX: Delete the update file from the USB device and replace it with the update for reinstallation found here

12. CE-34878-0
Application has crashed

FIX: Restart application in the content area

13. NW-31484-0
DNS server not specified

FIX: Restart PS4 System

14. NW-31367-0
Could not open wireless device

FIX: Restart PS4 System

15. NW-31453-6
Delayed server response

FIX:
Try Internet connection test at [Settings] > [Network] > [Test Internet Connection]. Check that the internet status is valid


16. NW-31194-8

Connection was reset

FIX: Reset PS4 System

17. E-8200002E

Credit card information not valid

FIX: Remove credit card from account, and then re-enter the credit card information

18. E-82000102
Server returned "Unknown Error"

FIX: Try again. If the error happend on PS Store, Close the store and retry. If the error happens again, exit store and Sign-out and Sign-in to PSN at [Settings] > [PSN].

19. CE-32889-0
No Description

Fix: Close the application and retry. Restart PS4 System if you continur to receive this error

20. WV-33907-2

Operation timeout. The specified time-out period was reached according to the conditions.

Fix: Connection timed out / connection error while receiving data. Network may not be stable now. Please retry after a while.

21. SU-30733-6

The latest version of the system software is already installed.

Fix: No action required

22.SU-30696-4 & SU-30645-8


Failed to update the system software. The update file may be corrupted.

Fix:
If you are updating the system via Internet, go to [Settings] > [System Software Update] and retry update.
If you are updating via USB storage device, delete the update file on USB and redownload the update file from playstation.com. Then retry updating at [Settings] > [System Software Update]
