I've installed the live version of Kali Linux onto a usb and everything worked fine until it gave me a login screen. "root" and "toor" as a password don't work.
How about root as username and password: whatever you set up in installation??
Den you did something wrong on install. But, you can reset password.
Here's a link on how to. http://www.geekyshows.com/2013/06/ho...nux-login.html
Why are you going to use a specified distribution to "hack" when you can download everything that distro has onto a Windows machine in minutes?
Also, if you knew anything about programming as your user-title suggests, you wouldn't be so oblivious to how a gui-installation works.
I'm trying to boot Kali Linux off of a usb. And look the the user-title again. PHP is a website code. OBJ-C is the main coding language for macintosh applications. And game = c++.I'm on a mac computer, so i can't get the applications that it has. And if it is possible, i haven't heard of any of these things being on mac. I know nothing about the linux coding or command system. I'm trying to install it to expand my knowledge and use the apps within the operating system.
I never said i wanted to "hack" anything.
