Default Is this a good tablet to buy?

    http://www.officedepot.com/mb/skupage.do?skuid=268778

So I'm just looking for a tablet for school and graphics. I'm just wondering if this is powerful enough to run photoshop cs6 portable. it's not the best but neither is my current laptop and I think this will be a step up if it can run the programs I like.

Samsung galaxy tablet would be your best bet for the same price.

    Here's the photoshop touch.

My friend has one and it runs smooth as silk. Of course IPad tops them all but if you're willing to pay the price then go ahead..

Photoshop touch is just like an app not a real full version of photoshop like cs6 or cs5.

You can't get the full version of Photoshop on a tablet because cs6 and cs5 is strictly for computers.. That's why the tablets have the photoshop touch app. Closest thing you will get to photoshop without a computer.

Well this isn't Windows RT version it has Windows 8.1 installed with MS Office. Those aren't just apps but are full programs. That's why I was wondering if it could run cs6 portable which I am running now on my laptop.

Yeah obviously, that's a tablet and laptop together.

Search up Motion Computing, these are tablets that aren't made as cheaply as current tablets are. You can upgrade shit in these too, like the RAM and HDD. Bios aren't locked down, so you can change/re-install the OS. Does not come with Windows 8.

Can maybe get a used one super cheap on eBay/Amazon.

Then there are things like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/121238215183

Laptop/tablet in one, so you have the keyboard there and whatnot.

Those two are what I'd steer you towards for drawing and designing shit, why? Not Windows 8, but they can run Win8 if you really wanted them to. Not android, but I'm sure you can run droidx86 if you really wanted to. They use PEN inputs, so finer input than just with your finger. (This is better for drawing, if you know anything about everything)

Bigger screen = bigger work space

Also, don't buy from that eBay link unless you want to go through the trouble of getting HDD's, PENs, chargers, and RAM for it if you buy it. Then you have to jump settings to clear the admin bios password.
