My Opinion of Gran Turismo 6
If you're still on the fence about getting this game, maybe this will help you make a decision. I'll go ahead and do my best to break it all down into parts to keep this as organized as possible.
If you were one of the many players who despised the leveling system on GT5 then this will ease your pain. The leveling system has been scrapped entirely for the new Gran Turismo installment and has been replaced with a much more user friendly star system. 1st place will earn you 3 stars (up to a max of three per course) and 2 stars for both 2nd and 3rd place. I have yet to place lower than 3rd place so I haven't had the chance to see what's the lowest place you can get to receive 1 star. You'll need to earn a certain amount of stars to advance through the many cups available as well as unlocking the chance to get the next grade license which is required to progress through the game. No worries though, they're rather simplistic and will give you tips on how to pass each test with flying colors. Another great thing is now most races have a PP limit so you actually have to try (no more using Red Bull x2011 prototypes to advance through cups). But best of all, you actually feel as if you accomplished something as you progress. No more of those "oh look another cup, better just gold that one and get it over with" dreary feelings.
One of the first things you'll notice about this game is the menu. It has a very clean ios7 type of feel to it. It's like this for most of the menus in the game. It's a good example of turning less into more. They've added several new features to the menus, but I'll talk about that in a bit. Nextly, my favorite part, the graphics (mostly the cars). The graphics have been sharpened slightly since the previous game so areas such as tracks and vehicles look smoother and much cleaner. There's not much more to say besides the graphics are very appealing. And though the loading times have been drastically improved I feel that they could've done a bit better.
Besides the multitude of extravagant vehicles and race tracks Polyphony decided to add the (optional) ability to purchase in game credits via PSN. So if you want something and want it NOW you can fork over a small fortune of $5 for 500,000 cr (better deals depending on the amount you spend). Its a great way to get some extra credits without feeling like you got robbed. But that's not all, Gran Turismo has taken us all over the world to race in uncharted territory. "But where did they forget?" you might ask. Well, unlike any other previous racing games, Gran Turismo 6 brings us to the moon. Yes your dreams can now be a reality as you race across the moon in a "Race for Space" on your lunar rover. Think you got what it takes to make the big leap for mankind? Controlling your lunar rover is the key to success in your conquest to safely travel the moon as with low gravity something as small as a rock could stand between you and your perfect time.
Though not without faults, GT6 is a very memorable, highly recommended game for any racing enthusiasts out there.

I've had the game for 2 days now. You even logged in once while I was playing.
Btw you need to take back some of the records I stole from you on the license tests
