What does it mean when you have an unknown driver?
Okay, so I got this Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition and I have it all set up and stuff. But I don't have the disc so I downloaded what I needed from a site and then I plugged the PVR in and it come up and says it's not recognized. When I click into that it say unknown driver. I was wondering if the driver is messed up, if there's something wrong with the PVR, etc.

Your computer hates it, I've had this happen to flash drives, hard drives, cameras, etc. The only way I've fixed it was to try a different port or reformat. However you could manually install the drivers by going to your device manager.

It's secretly a bomb designed to look like a PVR made from the Soviet Chinese government. It's unknown because it doesn't want to blow it's cover.
