I'm in need of an aux cable. Was wondering by chance if theres a way to make one from home-materials?

What kind of ends does it need, it can have a couple different kinds.

You could always go get a RCA one for next to nothing.

Yeah if you have two sets of headphones you don't need anymore. You can cut the wires from the headphones and strip back the jacketed wires and make sure to cover the jacketed wires (+) prior to twisting up the braiding (-). then make sure the left set of wires aren't touching the right set of wires. And you should have a functional aux jumper. But you need to count the rings on your jacks to make sure they are the same amount of poles. (each ring of separates the poles) So a three ring (four pole) would include the microphone, and a two ring (three pole) would just be audio in.
Other than that, you will just have to go to the store and buy one. They aren't that expensive.
