what will happen to COD series for wii
A big part of coding for the Wii was meant for the cod series. Now that most of those codes were for multiplayer, what will happen. If there was a non host god mode, would it be released tomorrow, or a nonhost moab, would these codes that would ruin the game be released one day before the service shuts off.

Who cares what happens? It'll die, and that's the end of that.

But what if those codes existed?

Well there are currently about 8 different teams working on making new wii online servers. So I doubt it. Also, if memory serves me correct. The only way a non host god mode would even work would be if the host was carrying a give insert player god mode.
I am pretty sure that's the only way one would even work.

Just one group hard at work.
I think this is a very long way to go about it.
A few teams are doing it via making an app to run through on homebrew. (This is how team FaTaL_ErRo(R) was working on it as well) Going at it via modifying the game disc and losing things like lobby leaderboards and placing you in rooms with same ability players. Just lets you connect and find a match then the next avail. open room is the one you go in. But in doing so you have the ability to activate extra content that never was opened in the disc. (Like in cod black ops had crisis in pvt match but you can make it hctdm)
The way gbatemp is going about it will re activate the servers without needing to have homebrew installed. Only time will tell.
