About to buy a new car
Since I left California, I had sold my 85 Toyota Celica. Now that I'm in Washington, looking at cars to buy.
Thinking of either getting another Celica, or grabbing a MR2 in the 80~ range to work on and get it running like it should.
If I get Celica, wont EDM tune it, but the MR2 I'd pack whatever I fucking can in it and make that thing blast off to the fucking moon.
Price isn't realllllly a problem for me.

Primary kind of car I'm looking at is a Toyota, but I like the old 86 Celica and 86 MR2 look and design. MR2 is a bit small inside for me, but I could fix that with hard labor and Japanese EDM freaks handy with a wrench and a couple grand of aftermarket parts.

I have an 8 inch lift kit but haven't installed it because I hate the way single cab trucks look when they're lifted way the fuck up.

I prefer the MR2 of the late 80s. If you are going to get a celica I personally like the body style of the 2000+ models

Actually, I ditched both of those. Going to save and fetch a Lotus Esprit late 90's early 2000 model in the future, since most of them have been babied and low mileage, and price is reasonable for a sports car.
