Why do you want the position: I want the position just do to the recent site changes, and I feel as if I could contribute to the art section. I love looking at art myself and this would be a good way to interact with other users who post, and as well block spam of course. As well as I do post in the art section and still am learning as it goes. I would like to clean up the requests section as well as I see a lot of completed requests not moved to completed. I can help out other users with their art as well and also learn from them as I am still learning.
My time frame is usually during the morning and at night due to work, life, and the girl of course.

Personally I don't think the Art Corner needs another mod at the moment due to still lack of inactivity and I can handle most of the post in under a few minutes, but I mean if the staff wants to give you a shot at moderator then that's all good. I'm just neutral on this at the moment. Anyways Good Luck.
