To all the PSP Generation Codeleakers Members
I haven't posted a thread on this website in forever. Some of you may know me, others of you have never heard of me. It doesn't matter. If you know me, that's great, if you don't, that's fine.
I'm 20 years old, I've been registered on this website since January of 2010. I've been everything on this website minus Admin and banned, and have encountered a lot of people through the ages. A lot has changed since then, but that's not what I came back to talk about.
I went over to visit a buddy from back in the day, and what he showed me was almost enough to bring me to nerd tears. He had the original FAT PSP with, low and behold, Star Wars Renegade Squadron (my copy). For all you newer members, this game was what essentially spawn codeleakers.com, the very website you probably enjoy visiting everyday. Just by looking at the PSP, a whole heap of memories came back. I remember getting on the forum almost daily to play some SWRS with some of the Ex-Admins and all the staff members (if they're still here), I remember the conversations I had with people I learned to consider my friends, and most of all I remembered how fun it was to be a member of codeleakers. The bond I had with this website was enough to make me think of it when my friend showed me the PSP.
I grew up with this website, it changed me, and it definitely gave me something to lay back on when the world was taking a piss on my head. I thought about it when I went to sleep that night, how I enjoyed logging on, and getting on the XAT and organizing a game night or whatever. Of course, I wish I could be a kid again, it was so much easier to me, and it seemed more enjoyable than it is now as a college student.
Long story short, I'd like to thank codeleakers, and some of you old school members from the PSP generation for some kick ass times. If any of you happen to get on still, I just like to thank you for an indirect impact on my life.
I'll probably get on the forum a couple of times, and after that, it's back to the shadows and horrors of the real world. For all you kids out there, enjoy the best years of your life. Don't spend too long on here and make connections with real people, they're a lot easier to track down when you feel like you want to catch up. Peace!
