    Default RDA vaping

Anyone have good experience building with RDA's. Anyways I did a dual coil setup with 24 gauge kanthal wire on a 1/8 drill bit with 6 wraps for each coil. I have a little problem and one cool heats up faster than the other. It's not a big deal but I'm just curious to why it is happening, could it be that my 18650 battery is faulty.

Could be one coil touching something the other isn't, or the coils aren't completely uniform.

Alright I think I'll rebuild it and see if that makes a difference

nah. your bat is fine. the current properly travels thru the kanthal, it just takes the shortest path to the opposite polarity. you should only worry if you have a shit battery, like an icr or somethin that ain't a sony or samsung. ultrafires are ok, but all the ones ive had get too toasty for me.

when you wrap, make sure both leads are either both on top or both on bottom, that extra few millimeters will have more resistance, thus, making one coil heat faster than the other. i've had that happen on a few of my earlier builds, its a pain in the ass because one wick is dry af and the other is soaked.

have you tried pinching your coils or scraping them softly to get out the hot spots?
