Default Turtle Beach Px22 not working

My Turtle Beach Px22 isn't working. It hasn't been working for awhile and I've been searching for awhile since then but I've never come across a solution yet. I just want to be able to use it as a normal headset not a gaming headset but it probably would work the same but yeah. I just use the headset only and not the inline amplifier. I am also on Windows 10.

just get a 4 pole splitter so you can connect the headphones and mic separately.

Like no sounds are coming out of the headphones. And even when the headphones are in it doesn't cancel the mic.

You must have one of those single headset/mic ports that uses software to detect if it's a mic or headphones. My Asus laptop has that shit. That's your problem
Also use the the USB shit that came with your Turtle Beaches and this wouldn't be a problem, not to mention better sound.

because that's what your headset utilizes, a 4 pole 3.5mm jack. it has both the input and output on one single jack. if you were to split it up, you'd have the input (the mic) and the output (the headphones) then you could use the headphones separately from the mic and the mic separately from the headphones.

if he uses the usb adapter, he won't be able to plug it into his ipod or any other device that requires drivers to utilize the headset. i'm just guessing that he wants to use it like a normal pair of headphones/microphone.
