My first PC...
Soooo, I have been working for a few months now and have money burning a hole in my pocket. I have been messing around on NewEgg and PcPartPicker and have built a PC. Its not exactly cheap or the best. I was just hoping for some opinions or changes I should do. I was going for a white out look.

I've heard rumors that 3TB HDDs from Seagate have higher failure rates than the others, can PC genius confirm?

i've had more instances of WD's failing than seagates. the only seagate i've had fail is an early 20mb mfm from the 80's. shit i still have two of their server grade drives kickin along in my server. i've also had seagate send me firmware updates for their drives which is nice.
on the other had, i've thrown WD's down stairs and they still work. but maxtor drives, fuck those. maxtor is fucking terrible.
ya never know, just back up your important stuff and get used to losing files.
